Request: Dreamcatcher and the Dreamsight

I can honestly say that it has been a LONG time since I have drawn something for someone else, but I like it.

However, there is a bit of a background to this piece, and it goes like this.

-ahem-

"Long ago, in the year 2012, an artist on dA was beginning to discover the wonders of free-handed drawing. Noticing his growing talent, his friend, the brave Dreamcatcher, beseeched him to draw his character with his special trait. The young artist, having been friends with Dreamcatcher for a while, accepted the task.

However, the young artist feel into a void of no inspiration, and his promise to his friend disappeared with him. However, the light of the new year shone hope upon the artist's heart and mind, and he begun to draw again. And, keeping to his promise, drew Dreamcatcher's character and completed the request. The young artist then sat back in his chair, content with his work and looked towards the horizon, dreaming of what he'll make next"

So, yeah, this piece has been in the works for quite some time. It is a piece of my friend 's OC Dreamcatcher, his special trait known as his Dreamsight activated. Never fully comprehended what the Dreamsight does, but it sure as heck looks awesome

This is also my first attempt at shading, trying to make Catcher look better in front of the flames. I think I kinda dropped the ball on the blood, though. Looks too thick, but that's just me.
